Conspicuous bliss...136 Mariners Club

Questions were answered quickly.

Unit 136 itself was great. Beautiful view from living, kitchen and master bedroom. Mariners Club was also very nicely kept, very clean and a convenient location in Key Largo. The adult/quieter pool area was very nice. Clean and plenty of space for our family of 5 with adult kids. Often times the bed sizes in these rentals are not large enough for grown men to share a room. This unit has 2 queen beds in one room and then another queen in the third bedroom was perfect for our daughter. Would definitely stay in this unit and at Mariners Club again. Only negative was that the elevator in our building was broken the whole time. Thank goodness for strong guys in my family!

I only use Barefeet Rentals when Im in key largo. Top notch service.

Excellent place. Could not have been any better.

As a consumer renting a luxury property, not having all maintenance and cleaning items available for the entire stay is quite a turnoff. No one wants to go to the store on their vacation for toilet paper, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. We have stayed at places all around the world, and this is the first time I've ever encountered this level of service. I would rather have enough trash bags than cups and cozies with "Barefeet Vacation Rentals" on them. MGR RESPONSE: Both on our website, as well as the multiple emails and texts leading up to a guest's arrival, it is explained that our properties are self-catered. It is further explained what specifically is in the starter-pack of supplies that are provided and guests are to provide for themselves for the balance of their stay. Beyond what is readily available to see on our website prior to booking and the emails and text messages that are sent once a booking has been made, we really do not know what we can do to make sure guests are informed.

The property was nice. The grounds were kept nice. The clubhouse was a nice addition for our kids. We used the pool and the hot tub as well. It was nice to have a full kitchen for cooking and enough place settings for all the guests (8).

They were always friendly and provided us with quality service and great recommendations for eateries.

This was a wonderful condo!!! The condo itself was very spacious and was nicely decorated. There were multiple spaces throughout the condo to sit and relax with a small or large group. The condo was also stocked with many beach supplies and games.I would definitely stay here again!

Pleasant & accommodating - they seem interested in making the rental process easy and stress-free.. This includes an extra week we were given for the final payment when a problem arose with our credit card ("fraud alert").

Unit 136 was certainly a nice unit, but something (intangible) seemed to be missing. There was little charm or character to the unit; it wasn't warm & inviting, so to speak. Maybe it needs more area rugs; perhaps the empty spaces need furniture. The unit undoubtedly needs better lighting - there was no good place to sit & read after dark (& we like to read). The track lighting in the living room was not bright enough for reading. The best reading light was in the dinette, & that space was empty (no table or chairs there). None of the ceiling fan lights (several) worked, except one on the balcony. Also, the balcony "couch" is not as comfortable as it looks - the "cushions" have no cushioning effect. Cleanliness was excellent overall except for.....we always took our shoes/sandals off at the door, & by the end of a day in the unit, the bottoms of our feet would be black - we suspect secondary to the balcony, not from the interior floors. (We spent alot of our time on the balcony - reading & card games.) We visited Key Largo for the sun & warmth (we don't get much of those in the midwest in winter). Indeed, those expectations were met. Beyond that, for those who are not boaters, fishermen, or swimmers, we discovered there's not much to do in the Keys. We like to walk, but there's not much land for walking (& the roadside is too noisy). A long drive down (or up) US1 is obviously worthwhile.

Beautiful condo with great view. Much larger than expected

Friendly staff, easy to get assistance from. The only issue we had was during check in, we went to the office and were given the packet with check in info and were under the assumption we could go to the unit and move in. When we got there, the unit was still being cleaned because previous renters were allowed a late check out. We werent able to actually start or rental until almost 5:00 which was an hour later than we were supposed to be able to get in. We made the best of it and went grocery shopping so it all worked out ok. (MGR comment - we did not give the outgoing guest permission for a late check-out...we simply had a hard time getting them out)

The unit was absolutely beautiful! Every amenity you could think of was provided. The only minor inconvenience was not having any ice. The refrigerator never made any and there is not any ice available on site that isnt for cooler use only. There are gas stations close by that we just bought bags of ice from so we were fine. The fitness center was great, both pools were fantastic. It would have been nice to be able to access at least one of the pools/hot tubs after sun down, but they were all locked up. We had a great time and would love to come back again!

Walk-in access a little difficult when guards on rounds, shower in guest bathroom needs some work and ants were seen coming into great room from balcony. Visit key largo meadery, Pennekamp

verything was packaged and organized for easy check-in. They sent plenty of reminders ahead of time so had no problem getting required information in advance which was great! I gave a 9 because I feel their physical location could've been better. The office we had to check into was located offsite (6 miles away) and would've been more convenient for check-in if they were onsite. Otherwise, great experience! (MGR RESPONSE: We wish we could be onsite as well, however, this is a residential community and therefore having a commercial business on property is not permitted!)

Loved this place. Very spacious. The images don't do it justice. The hot tubs and pool onsite are fabulous. The rental unit itself was huge! We had a group of 8 and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. It was great!

Check in was quick efficient and everything was explained clearly.

Excellent stay beautiful unit amd lovey community. My only criticism would be more comfortable living room and outside patio seating. Was tastefully decorated. Such a nice unit - the furniture was adorable but not very comfortable to truly sit and relax. My only compliant.

Overall, very relaxing and we liked the area a lot. Lots of space for everyone - so much better than hotel rooms.

The members of the team we did communicate with were great to deal with. We loved the whole experience. Easy to work with and an overall fantastic stay.

This was a fantastic property and we loved everything about it. We loved it here. Felt like we were at a tropical resort. We did the airboat tour thru the everglades, the glass bottom boat tour to the reef, and drove down to feed the tarpin at Robbies all of these were great family activities. We look forward to coming again and doing even more.

They accommodated us when our flight was delayed with after hours arrangments to check in.

It was a great place for our family of 5. It was a beautiful location, the property was gorgeous, and the condo was fabulous.

Loved the condo. It had amazing views that never got old. Inside and out it was a breathe of fresh air from morning to night. The place was very nice and relaxing. The location on the ocean was perfect. It was a quiet community.
