My husband and I stayed at this property for 8 nights. We had a great time and would rent it again. Favorite things: 1) three verandas on three different levels (the lowest is completely screened in and the rooftop has both sunrise ans sunset views), 2) very comfortable living room, 3) comfortable beds, 4) huge kitchen, 5) two full baths, 6) proximity to water for kayak (canal right out the back and ocean just a few steps in front), 7) full-size washer and dryer, 8) location (mile marker 76 so less business congestion yet close enough to town that we could bike to lunch and breakfast), 9) wired internet worked every time, 10) DVD player (and a good supply of Dvd's but they weren't really our style), 11) plenty of towels. Minor caveats: 1) Inside metal spiral staircase could be a challenge for some. I preferred to use the external cement stairs most of the time. 2) The master suite is upstairs and there is no door at the top of the spiral staircase so privacy could be an issue if you are with a group. {Property also has two twin beds in main floor bedroom (with door)}. 3) We used the aC at night and had to crank it way down to keep the upstairs bedroom cool. We wanted to keep the windows open but the rattling blinds made too much noise - too windy I guess. If we'd had some sturdy rubber bands we would have used them to quiet the blinds. 4) There is no ladder from the patio to the canal so at low tide the kayak was a bit of a challenge to enter and exit.  (Welloff from Austin, TX ~ Reviewed By The Sea ~ December 2012)

"Comfortable, spacious, well-equipped." We (2 adults, 2 teenage kids) stayed for a week at apt 410 in august. The townhouse was spaciousand well-equipped, so we had a really comfortable time. since it was off-season, it was lovely and quiet and we usually had the fantastic pool almost to ourselves. Mariners Club is secure and private, but close to shops and dive operators. Barefeet Rentals were friendly and efficient to rent through (Nigel from Great Britain ~ Reviewed 410 Mariner's Club ~ Aug 2011)

"Absolutely Beautiful!!!" This was the most relaxing and beautiful vacation for our family. The pool at the Mariner's club is huge and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning for sure :) (M & R family from Michigan ~ Reviewed 206 Mariner's Club ~ July 2011)

"Relaxing!" We had a wonderful time. The place nice and clean. We stayed in Mariners Club 410. The kitchen was stocked well. (Amy from KY~ Reviewed 407 Mariner's Club ~ July 2011)

"Great!" The place was as described and exactly as seen in the photos. (Dee ~ Reviews 407 Mariner's Club ~ June 2011)

"Beautiful condo with a large balcony and plenty of room for our family of five to stay." It was clean and had lots of amenities. The grounds and pool at the facility were well maintained and we felt very safe with the security provided. (Mike E. ~ Reviewed 124 Mariner's Club ~ 4/14/10)

"Great Location Clean accommodation". The 2 bedroom condo we rented was clean and had a nice sea view. The balcony was so tiny that it was useless and the beach at the property is very small (that's no one's fault though - just geography). The complex was well maintained and the grounds were nice. Knowing what to expect, I would stay here again. (Reviewed by J.P. ~ 5409 Ocean Pointe ~ June 2011)

"Luxury and location makes a perfect stay" I saw some mixed reviews on Tripadvisor for Mariners Club, and I was somewhat hesitant about the quality of the resort - I had nothing to worry about! Everything, from the helpful check-in process to the quality of the rental, exceeded my expectations. We were 2 adults and 4 kids (3 teenagers) and unit 123 was a perfect fit for us. It lists as a 2/2.5, but there is a separate "den" with a pullout sofa that was perfect for the older teen. I can't say enough about the quality of this condo: travertine floors, granite countertops, professional stainless appliances, marble in the master bath surrounding a jacuzzi tub and flat screen Tv's throughout - simply outstanding, one of the best equipped rentals I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. One note: there is wired internet, as noted in the description, but no Wi-Fi in the unit itself..not a big issue for me, but teenage girls had to share 1 DSL line. If this place had a router, it would be better equipped than my home! It is perfectly located on the atlantic side (so no sunsets from the beautiful balcony, but you do overlook the marina and a tranquil bay right offshore) just 5 minutes south of the entrance to Pennekamp State Park. As for the amenities at the resort - again, well above average. There is a fitness center in the clubhouse (where you can get Wi-Fi), 2 pools, the grounds were kept very clean, and the entire place is very secure (maybe too secure for some people, gated entry, lots of golf cart patrols, but I never found them to be overbearing - courteous and respectful at all times). About the pools (there are 2 of them, as well as a waterfall hot tub) - they have a beautiful lagoon style pool, exactly as advertised in the pictures, that is very well maintained (even the pool bathrooms were immaculate, something you don't see all the time in even the best hotel properties). If you can't tell by now, I was extremely pleased with the entire rental. I challenge anyone to find a better equipped condo in a well kept resort setting at a similar price. Enjoy with no hesitation... (Rose from Orlando reviewed 123 Mariner's Club ~ June 2011)

"Absolutely, I would recommend this accommodation to my best friend!" Great little house if you can handle the stairs. We really enjoyed staying at this house. When we first drove up, we were anxious because the houses on this street are nestled together closely. However, we stayed for over a week and never heard any noises from the neighbors. I am middle-aged+ and should have considered the stair issue. It clearly states that this is a 3 story home on the write-up. Using the stairs and going up to the master bedroom is worth the climb as the view is great! We really enjoyed eating breakfast and watching the pelicans land in the water. The house is nicely furnished and has a huge kitchen. Barefeet Rentals was simply a joy. There had been a storm before we arrived and the internet was down. We had to work at night so we called Barefeet Rentals. Ken came to the rescue by calling the repair company and waited while it was fixed. We will certainly use Barefeet Rentals again if we can get back to the Florida keys. (Leona from Chicago reviewed  By The Sea ~ Jan 2011)

"Thanks for the great stay"! Thank you for recommending this condo for our 'schools-out-vacation'. The unit was big enough for my wife and I and our son...and his entourage of friends! The boys had a blast snorkeling around off the beach and thanks for the tip on wearing dive shoes. We'd never been to the Keys before so we had no idea what to expect and how to interpret the man-made beach thing. My wife and I LOVED the nearby Pilot House restaurant...great food and live music...a couple of cocktails to wind down the day was our idea of a nice evening. The Pennekamp Park was a cool thing to see, we all enjoyed the snorkel boat tour and the back-country eco tour to out of Dolphin Cove. We will definitely be back!  (Michael from Georgia ~ reviewed 202 Kawama Tower ~ June 2010)

"We had a nice weekend."  The reservations were so much easier with Debbie and Annie.  Both are very, very helpful and provide a great service.  They make a difference!!!!! (Eduardo V. Reviewed Villa #13 ~ 6/2/10)

We had a great time at Kawama Tower! Unit 408 is very spacious, well appointed, clean and a great location. We spent a lot of time out on the jetty fishing and saw quite a few interesting fish - two dolphin playing about 20 yards off the jetty, blowfish darting in and out of the rocks, barracuda and even a big ray. We enjoyed the pool and walking around the lagoon. We had a minor issue with an appliance and were extremely impressed how quickly our call was returned and a service tech showed up. We can't wait to get down to the Keys and Kawama tower again!  (Mike M. Reviewed 408 Kawama Tower ~ 6/15/10)

You could not find a better location for a place to spend a vacation. With a canal right outside your backdoor and the Gulf a few feet from your front door to watch the sunsets. (Bob S. Reviewed AA-7 Buttonwood Bay ~ 5/25/10)

We spent 4 nights here and absolutely loved it!  Beautiful condo, great views from both screened in patios.  Master Bedroom is a retreat! Directly on the pool.  Would highly recommend! (Dennis C. Reviewed 407 Mariner's Club ~ 4/24/10)

My son, myself, and another family of 5 shared the villa for Spring Break.  Everything was perfect and suited our needs for a group of 7 beautifully.  Debbie from Barefeet Rentals was helpful with everything we needed and the villa was more than we even expected.  I highly recommend this location for any vacation in Key Largo. This was our first time spending a weekend in any type of a vacation rental and we can't wait to do it again! Thank you!

We’ve enjoyed a very relaxing visit to this beautiful community. Your home was quite cozy. We walked and biked through the neighborhood, strolled the beach, enjoyed great food at the restaurant and did some sight seeing in the area. Hopefully we’ll get over this way again sometime in the future.

"Great views, great location." We found this rental online, it was easy to make the arrangements, and we had friendly help making sure the paperwork was complete. On arrival our unit was not clean. The on call manager quickly made arrangements for the cleaning, and credited our account for the cleaning fee. The unit was perfect for our family of six. We had easy access to all the fun Key Largo has to offer. Barefeet rentals has my respect for quickly righting their mistake of not cleaning the unit and making the charge adjustments. We will be back!

"Scuba, Swim, Relax, and enjoy Nature" We had a wonderful time in Key Largo, it was our 2nd time staying at this property. The first trip was with 2 families, and this time with my husband, his mother, our 9 year old, and myself. We choose this property as it is close to the pool, has a nice view, and the condo was nicely decorated and comfortable. It is not good for those who have trouble with steps as there are quite a few and they are a bit narrow. Beyond that, it is a great place to stay. If you scuba, you are within 5-10 min. of many of the companies. Same with snorkeling. The pool at the condo is beautiful. In addition, thera is a nice park, and a number of attractions you can visit in a reasonable distance. (Reviewed 410 Mariner's Club ~ Sept 2011)

Relaxing accommodations with breath-taking views We loved the open and spacious layout of the condo as well as having wonderful amenities with the accommodations--beautiful pool, hot tub, easy access to the tennis courts, and a great location to tour the rest of the "Keys." The sunrises from the condo deck were magnificent. (Reviewed by The Southwest Missouri Clan on Sept 19, 2011)

We enjoyed our stay at Mariner's Resort this past weekend and will most likely come back again in the future. We will certainly be telling friends and family about what a nice place it was to visit and enjoy. Our daughter LOVED the pool and my mother-in-law enjoyed her birthday weekend surrounded by her family. We stayed at 607 Mariner's Club and we opted to cook more meals than going out to eat. We did often have a difficult time preparing and serving with the existing items in the kitchen. We would really like to recommend for future renters some additional basic items such as measuring cups, spoons, etc (there was only 1 liquid measuring cup for us to use). Additionally we would like to recommend some basic serving/mixing bowls of various sizes. We had a lot of improvising over the weekend - serving salad out of a large baking pan and mixing pancake batter in a pot. We were not able to bake a birthday cake because we only had 1 baking pan that was already in use - so more bake ware/pans would have been great (including muffin/cupcake pan - we had liners with us just no pan). We had plenty of place settings, coffee mugs, cups and regular utensils so that was great! And they had a lot of pots & pans for the stovetop which was great. All in all a great weekend and this is not a complaint at all but just a recommendation. (Property Manager comment ~ items guest suggested are now in unit.)

Every square inch of your condo is BEAUTIFUL! Very comfortable, luxurious, and plenty of space for my 9 month old baby daughter to play in. We also loved the gorgeous view. It was a great place for two grandma’s , a mom, a dad, and a baby to enjoy a family holiday.

What a little piece of paradise! The sunrises will forever be a memory. We even enjoyed a full moon shining on the water! Mariners Club was the perfect place for our getaway, the amenities were just right for our family. Thanks for sharing your lovely home, we had a ball.

The condo took our breath away from the moment we walked in. The views were incredible and we loved the open layout. With 6 of us, it felt like there was plenty of space for everyone. We also did some diving this week and would second the recommendation for Keys Divers – they were great to work with. Our favorite place to eat was The Fish House – delicious! Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous home away from home.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We took complete advantage of this beautiful setting. Snorkeling, deep sea fishing, kayaking, sitting by the pool, chilling on the couch watching movies and baseball. Your home in the south is beautiful and so comfortable.

Great facility, comfortable, pleasant. Would use it again and would recommend to friends. Customer service was great. One minor issue with out of service elevator was handled very well with customer service in mind. Popi, Nana, Kids and grandkids were all satisfied with the week. We were very pleased with this large condominium unit near the water in Key Largo. Lots of sunlight streaming through the windows with light-colored decor. Beautiful full-size dining room table and kitchen. Television in living room was kind of small, but adequate. The aC did not flow very strongly in the master bedroom, but the rest of the condo cooled off nicely. The most difficult thing was locating the trash dumpsters, which were quite a long walk from the condo. Fortunately, I brought my own hair dryer because there wasn't one in either bathroom. Love how quiet this neighborhood is. It was very pleasant to come "home" to this place each day.
